Seeking Light

Seeking light is inspired by the bible verse: “God is the light, in Him there is no darkness” (1 John1:5), it compels me to contemplate how I search for, experience and explore this spiritual and emotional journey.

 

Light means to me good and divine, as it’s the first of the creator’s works, which manifests the divine operation in a world that is darkness and chaos without it. Light is a metaphor of God himself, who dispels darkness and sets people free.

 

The light source through the acrylic is a metaphor of God, and the transformed light seen through the images becomes the inner being of myself.

 

My work evokes surreal expression, which invites viewers into a world beyond representation. Viewers are encouraged to engage in the scene, not only enjoy the spiritual and emotional connection, but also take the path through the journey, and discover what the light means to them.
