This is a series of urban landscape in black and white, which captured by a medium-format film camera. The suburban streets are somewhere not too far from where I am living in South Bay of San Francisco, however, they struck my eyes and draw me keep returning with their ambiguous form. They remind me some places I visited when I was very young. At same time, they appear so surreal to me and often lead me to doubt their existence and be curious about what’s happening inside the houses. With this body of work, I want to convey to the audience my personal connection to the places and curiosity about the miles-away suburban.
